You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you. (Isaiah 26:3)
I learned about trusting God and relationship plays a big part because to trust God, you need to know the heart of God. The way we know the heart of God, also meaning His will, is by reading His word. Seeing or knowing what He does and what He did.A lot of the times we get in the way when God wants to do something in our/others lives because trusting God is simply, being a instrument for Him. Not playing the instrument.
If you are a instrument for God…give yourself to God. God is the instrument player you are the instrument in use. Let Him…Play.
We do have free will, but that is why the bible says,…”…yet not my will, but yours be done.” (Luke 22:42)saying, “Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done.” (Luke 22:42) (Things that God asks us to do, may not be what we want, it’s not suppose to be what we want. But we do them in love. We do them because we love.) As His word says… “If you love me, you will obey what I command. (John 14:15)
And there appeared to him an angel from heaven, strengthening him. (Luke 22:43)
You see right when Jesus gave His will to the father, an angel appeared to strengthen Him. God knows and cares and He will help you as you do His will. That is when He is able to move into your life, with your total reliance, trust, leaning on Him.
He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” (Psalm 46:10)
The LORD Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. (Psalm 46:11)
This is a command, “Be still”, or to me it means also…, ”Stop, thinking”…”Cease Striving” (in another bible translation) and “Let be”, or “Let Go”. Stop leaning on your own thoughts and understanding. On your own wisdom. Lean on His wisdom and truth. Let God be God in your life.
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; (Proverbs 3:5) in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:6) Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and shun evil. (Proverbs 3:7)
Last but not least, let Jesus take the stage in your life. As you meditate on His word, worship, pray, in conversations. Whatever it may be, He is with you. :)
Let go of your past and sinful life, live for God and for His glory. He will prove it to you in power if you trust Him. Surrender your life in commitment and see what God will do for you! God Bless!
